We are always looking for ways to improve our member’s financial pictures and help them achieve their goals.  Last year, when we introduced a new Online Banking system, we also introduced FOCUS, our Personal Financial Manager.  Our Chief Information Officer, Roger Lange, answered some frequently asked questions about FOCUS

What is FOCUS?

FOCUS is a Personal Financial Manager, offered as a no-cost member benefit to all AmeriChoice members who use online banking.  FOCUS allows you to consolidate all your financial information from each financial institution you do business with into a complete, easy-to-understand picture.  With FOCUS you can have all your transactions automatically presented in one place so you see everything at a glance.

How long does it take to set up FOCUS?

Not long at all!  You will need to add each financial institution you want to see in FOCUS, and enter your personal logon information.  FOCUS will securely store your logon information, and use it to get all your up-to-the-minute transactions.

Is FOCUS safe?

Absolutely!  FOCUS uses state-of-the-art encryption technologies to make sure all your personal information is completely safe and secure.

What are the benefits of FOCUS?

The primary benefit of FOCUS is the ability to see your full financial picture in one place. This includes all financial institutions where you have accounts and all the transactions you make, whether they are on your debit card at one institution or a credit card at another. Being able to have everything in one place lets you take control of your financial habits and make productive adjustments to meet your financial goals quicker.
